Every parent has those moments—your child pushes, your chest tightens, and you can feel the yelling rising before you can stop it.

That’s where the Pause & Regroup (a.k.a. Rage Break) comes in.

In this free guide, I’ll walk you through 4 simple, guided steps to:

  • Pause before the yelling takes over

  • Move your body to release built-up tension

  • Shift your thoughts out of shame and frustration

Let's be real, parenting is way harder than any of us were expecting.

The kids are in bed. When you finally lay your head down you cannot sleep. Your body is both bone-tired and restless. Your mind is filled with racing thoughts of what did not get done or still needs to be addressed. You are both exhausted from all you did that day and still worried you are not doing enough.

“I lost my temper too many times. I tried so hard to be patient with the kids but I was on edge all day.” Mom of 3

Feel familiar? If you can relate, you are not alone. In parenting you give and give until you are exhausted and have nothing left but still worry it's not enough.

Here you will find:

  • Strategies to reclaim your calm and clarity of mind so you can parent peacefully

  • A game plan to shift from yelling or shutting down to connecting with your children keeping your relationship intact

  • How to pause so you can respond rather than react in your toughest parenting moments

  • Tools to find relief from parent guilt

  • A deep sense in your core you are not alone and you are a good parent

Michelle is one of the most amazing mums I know.  She’s incredibly thoughtful, insightful and strong.

Having 3 children close together has given her a unique understanding of how hard parenting young children is, especially in a conscious and connected way.

She has such empathy for mums, especially around overwhelm, rage, depression and guilt, as well as how to deal with everyday life with kids.

I love her warmth, humor, honesty and insights.  I’m continually inspired by her and grateful to have her in my life.

HAND IN HAND PARENTING COACH, FOUNDER OF PARENTING WITH PLAY PODCAST

Parenting Coach & Speaker

Hi! I'm Michelle (she/her)

I'm a Mom of three, Licensed Therapist, and a Certified Emotionally Focused Family Therapist Supervisor.

I have been using Hand In Hand and Emotionally Focused parenting in my own family for over 10 years.

It has not always been easy though. I quickly slipped into parent burnout after I had my third child was born. I experienced painful depression and anxiety for several years before I found a path out of burnout.

I created Compassionate Heart Mindful Life to share what I learned with busy parents who care deeply, are trying so hard, and need support with the ever increasing guilt, self blame, and feeling like you're failing. You are not failing and you are not alone!

You already have everything you need to have the deep connected parent child relationships you desire.
